Arrow Plastic has been instituting changes in our manufacturing operation in order to keep us more competitive in the marketplace. Those changes have the dual benefit of conserving natural resources and promoting the sustainability of our environment.

 

Some examples are:

We utilize close to 1 million pounds of various resins each month and continually recycle any residue from the manufacturing process.

We are constantly upgrading our molding machines, which are then more energy efficient. The same applies to peripheral equipment such as grinders, chillers, and trimmers.

We have installed specialized lighting in both our production and warehousing facilities that utilize lower wattage, shut down automatically when not in use, and conserve energy.

We continually evaluate our packaging choices to minimize corrugated and evaluate shipping cartons / pallet usage to minimize transportation costs.

We recycle all corrugated materials utilized in our operation.

Our office participates in the Minolta Clean Planet Program by recycling all printer and copier cartridges.
